Quite pointless to put NYGH after SNGS since COP will very likely be higher for NYGH. But then all your choices seems very varied in terms of locations. Have you considered that at all? Do you really want your kid to spend hours traveling to/from school?

Which schools near Dunean/Bukit Timah will you recommend for a score of 257+2 if there is a preference to go for IP/IB? Is it still okay to list RGS & NYGH as the first & second choice respectively? Should an O level option be included in the 6th choice? If so, any recommendation?

Please note that RGS will shift to Bishan in 2019, so it will not be in Dunearn/Bukit Timah.
Sure do put this as first 2 choice if you want, but last year's COP higher then 257+2. Do include MGS and SCGS as more realistic choices. Whether or not you want to do O level track is really up to the individual. i.e. If you want to get into a school at all cost and don't mind forgoing IP in another school then go ahead and make the choice.
