I'm doing spring cleaning of my son's books. He doesn't need the following Chinese books anymore. Anyone interested can PM me. I'm selling the collection for $50 , bought it at Popular for $98.50.

    • RE: Berries - Discussion

My son has been in Berries since N2. he is now in P2 taking higher Chinese…He is coping well as I think Berries do give him a good foundation to start off with…coming from a non Chinese family. I actually put him in Tien Hsia as well last year when he was in P1 but decided to stop cos I find the teacher is very fierce and not motivating at all, lessons are not as organized and structured as Berries…the teacher only communictes more with kids who are more vocal and so she tends to "ignore" the quiet ones…( I actually observe through the glass window at the door…Berries teachers are generally more professional, yet approachable for students…I would definitely stick to Berries cos majority of their PSLE students score A*. So far my son has been getting 90 + marks average for his Chinese tests.

    • RE: Cristofori

Anyone has any comments regarding Cristofori piano class. I intend to send my 7 year old to learn individual lesson. He's currently finishing his Yamaha JXC course. It's just that there's a Cristofori near our place in Bishan J8. I can't decide whether to let him continue at Yamaha for their individual piano class or just let him learn at Cristofori (convenient cos it's near). Anyone with comments can also pm me....grateful if you have any reviews. Thanks ! 😄

    • RE: Any good piano Teacher to recommend?

I am looking for a Pte piano tutor for my 7 year old son, currently taking Yamaha JXC. I need tutor who can come to my place at Toa Payoh. I’m looking for a tutor who is patient and can motivate children to enjoy and appreciate music and playing piano…not keen on tutors who are perfectionist and high achievers. Pls send me PM if you have any recommendations.
