Hi "complaint queen mom" thanks for sharing. I m sure each Sch co-Ed or girls will certainly have its own fair share of bullying cases. Hoping they will breeze through and enjoy their Sch times still.

RE: CHIJ Our Lady of the Nativity
Hi parents,
what’s your thought about your girl in girls Sch? Many friends I spoke to discourage me to enrol my daughter in a girls school. spoke to my niece from rgs graduating this year she said its true that in p5 and p6 there are many lesbians and can be scary.
Many also feared that either the girl will behave differently with boys around.
My wish to put her in girls Sch is so she’s "well protected"… But with many negative comments influencing my decision, I m in a dilemma.
current school parents, please share your thoughts of the pros and con of your current dd Sch? Many thanks! -

Unfortunately, that's how it is with car rental. They can slap you with a huge bill for damages if you do not have the excess cover. You should dispute the claim and if you need help, you can https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/complaints-problems/make-a-consumer-complaint to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (no guarantee that anyone would help, but there's no harm in trying).floppy:

Would like to share bad experience regarding car rental. I changed to AVIS due to many bad reviews for CarTrawler. AVIS shd be reputable (I think). So, I paid twice more for AVIS instead of CarTrawler. Everything was fine until returning the car. The angmoh found minor scratch at underbody of the car which I was not aware of. I remember I didn't hit anything during driving. My wife believed the scratch occurred during the car parking. (maybe kena sabo). The angmoh inspected the car and told us to go to airport counter return the key. We did just that (return the car key at the counter). Nothing said (confused, maybe I missed something here). But its time to check-in, as usual, we have to check-in and proceed boarding. Next, guess what? bad thing happend when we returned in spore. DBS bank called said my credit card kena charged A$3,3000 (S$3,900.00) by AVIS. They charged on same date my departure/return car date. I almost fainted. The amount nearly same as the entire trip for my family of 4 (excl. shopping). Right now, I am disputing, busy sending emails to AVIS Gold Coast to clarify and ask for refund. Dunno can get refund or not. very heart pain
seems 2015 started badly for me.
https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/health-home-car/motor-cars#returning-a-hire-car also highlights certain steps when returning the car, specifically a written agreement with the company about costs and procedures for fixing the damage. While you may have passed this stage, you could ask Avis for the assessment report (if they have not given you) and a breakdown of the cost/repairs. If the cost is grossly exaggerated or inflated, you will probably have a case.
Lastly, you should check your travel insurance (if you have purchased any). Some travel insurance do provide coverage for damages to rental vehicle, subject to an excess. At the very least, this would reduce the amount you have to pay out and cut your losses.
Dear Floppy,
I come back to express my appreciation to your post (&advice). Managed to get back 70%. In the 30% has three items breakdown which contained two other items (never seen before). Their honestly is BIG question. But up to this point I stopped pursue futher as it was a complete hassle. I am now giving them two thumbs DOWN.
Anyway again, thanks to Floppy.[/quote]hi there, U didn't purchased car insurance when u are renting the car? -
