You can consider my agent tho. I’ve been with her for at least 8 years. I dont follow the agency but I followed my agent.

if you have helper that you would like to let go, you can consider finding my agent at 98989647 Wendy, my family and I took helpers from her for around 10 years already. recently my friends have been engaging her service to help finding a new employer for their helper that they want to let go.

Anyone have experience to share how to handle a maid that doesn't take instructions ? As my mum is unable to turn her body, I asked the maid to turn for her. She replied ok but I observed she hasn't been turning. Maid has been with us for 3years+. Now also cannot send her home. Her salary is already $700 and just concentrate on taking care of bedridden mum and assisting her to toilets, feeding and medication. Basic cleaning of house once a week. How should I ask her to get the job done ? She doesn't like us to tell her what to do. If I tell her off, I am afraid she will harm my mum.
      which nationality is your helper?

you should definitely find a new one asap.

    • RE: Any Recommendation of a Good Maid Agency

If you want recommendation, I can recommend my agent for many years. I’ve been hiring from her since 2011. Wherever she went, i followed. I think agent is more important than agency. I have a rules for myself, I change hekper once they complete contract and so far all the helper I got from my agent, is quite good. I dont have to choose myself as my agent will do all the screening for me. My families all took maid from her. Her name is Ms Teo (Wendy) and I’ve got her permission to reveal her number here:) 98989647.

      HI,

      I have a query

I have a maid who has been with me for 6 years, I will allow her home leave for 2 weeks every 2 years
but this year, she decided not to go home and stay here in Singapore
I know I have to pay her for the home leave of 2 weeks even though she does not return home
but do I have to pay her for the air ticket too?
meaning is the usualy air ticket cost around $300, I will compensate her in cash term since she is not going home? is there such ruling that employer have to compensate maid air ticket if she choose to say in Singapore?

hope to hear from you. thks
Yes, you have to pay her air ticket in cash term. But you do not have to pay her the extra 2 weeks salary.

      bluebellas:
How do you choose a maid? As in you go to different agents, pick a suitable maid then choose the agent, or would you stick to one agent and wait for suitable biodata from this agent?

I have seen a few biodata. All sure have something I dun like, haha...choose until tired.

JTS: I have had maids before so kinda of have gut feel what to look out for.
you should see if the agent you have now is good or not, are you satisfy with her service. If yes then you should stick to your agent. If you are not satisfy, then you should change another agent.

Let me know if you wanted to change another agent, I could recommend you my agent that I followed for years.
