      Hi Parents, :rahrah:

      Wanted to know if any of your girl's are traveling from punggol/sengkang to TKGS. It takes almost 70 mins from punggol. There is no school bus from these areas. so I'm thinking we all can arrange a private bus operator or request the school to arrange for transport from these places for one way in the morning. šŸ†’

      Hi can anyone help me with this question?I know it is a easy one but the answer I got is different from the answesheet.

      Q:A bottle contained 3/4L of oil.Mrs.Lim used 1/6 ofthe oil to fry a fish.How much oil was left in the bottle?(Leave your answer as afraction in its simplest form)
      My Ans: 3/4-1/6=14/24
      =7/12
      Answer Key-------5/8

      Fraction of oil left ->5/6
      Amount of oil left -> 5/6*3/4=5/8 litres

      Thank You for the fast reply.I understood now.

      Like to check I am staying infront of EFPS is it mean I have priority in 2C?

      or if 2C have 100 seat, 50 within 1km 51 more than 1km. Do I need to

      ballot?
      As far as I know everyone under 1km will get the same priority.For example, if 100 seats are there and 110 children have registered. Out of 110 children 90 stay within 1km and the remaining 20 stay within 1km and 2km radius. Priority is given to the children who stay within 1km so all the 90 children will get the seats.For the remaining 10 seats the 20 students(who stay within 1km-2km) have to ballot.But there is no balloting history till now for this school so don't worry you may not have to ballot especially because you stay within the 1km radius.

    • RE: Improving Focus And Concentration

      My Girl is in primary 1 now.She is a year end born kid.I sometimes think if only she was born 1 month later she would not have to go through the pressures of primary school early.Her form teacher says she does not have focus and she does not pay attention in the class.She says that it's not that your daughter does not know the concept,but she still gives a blank face when asked to do the corrections.Her mother-tounge teacher says her reflexes are a bit slow.The main concern teacher is telling me is my daughter does not follow instructions.She does not copy what is written on the board for homework.Even though she does sometimes it will be only half of it and if any information is given verbally by the teacher she never conveys that to me.If I come to know about through other parents and I ask her she would have completely forgotten about it.She does'nt have a clue. :shock: I have been getting the same complaints from her K1 and K2 teachers ,but then i was thinking may be she needs more time to pick-up.but now i think if with this lack of focus and attention she cannot go forward in the primary school.Please can anyone here help me out in this matter.How can I improve her attention and how can get her to tell me what is happening in the school.Sorry for the long post.and Thanks in advance
