I will consider to let her take the iq test. Her memory isn’t so good but she is able to write her own name and some words. Able to read some words, alphabet names, recognised and able pronounce letter sounds, upper and lowercase and count up to 30 and Writing skill is fine. All this she is taught by her mainstream preschool teacher and me.


Last year when we having zoom meeting with eipic teacher she told us my girl not able to count. She said she wrote the sequence numbers in the box. I asked her did she explain to her what is beads in the worksheet? She said she can’t show the exact real things to explain. 🤦🏻‍️ The worksheet consist of bracelet with beads. If u don’t explain or the kid nv seen such thing before how she is going to count the beads?

She will request to go shopping for toy. Just teasing her and said mummy no $ buy toy. She said I got $ don’t worry And show us her wallet.
somehow I feel that she is just fine. Maybe we did not spend enough time with her when she was younger a little.

Currently I’m going through daily short sentence flash cards ( sight words) I can see her speech improved a lot. My family, her teachers and our friends also mentioned. I will continue do that with her.

If the eipic lesson still not consistent if it’s once or twice a week lesson, sch holiday and ph also no class. no point continue my kid don’t learn too.

My girl born in Dec 2015. She is having speech delayed. She only speak when she is turning 4 with single words. She is 6 now able to speak a sentence but sometimes isn’t clear in the middle of the sentence like muddling in words.

We rarely communicate with her as we are both busy working. She will be entertained by iPad everyday. My mil don’t really communicate with her too.

I’ve resigned my job and full time staying at home. After her cc and eipic I will fetch her home and have dinner after that we will do revision like reading sentence. She is doing well at home with me.

Just few weeks ago we have a zoom meeting with her eipic teacher and she said her team recommend my girl to sped school in 2023. I’m very upset with the team srsly. Due to covid the lesson isn’t consistent. My girl’s class changed 3 teacher in a year. Next year gonna be a another new teacher again total 4 diff Teachers taught my girl in eipic I should say.

I felt that the teacher don’t really know about my girl ‘s character and what she know or don’t know about. I’m surprised that the teacher told me she is total new in this organisation / special needs kids but they put her as main teacher in my girl’s class. Only 1 main teacher and no assistant teacher! Isn’t they should pair her with another experience teacher?

I don’t know is my child just ignore the teacher or she can’t teach my child well.

She is able to play with other kids well. Just need to improve her speech. I’ve been thinking to withdraw her out from eipic and bring to speech therapy clinic plus enrol her to private specialist sch their curriculum similar as eipic too.

Srsly I’m so worried for her. 😔

How abt Nurturestars at Yishun safra? In fact I wanna put my girl in Nurturestars beginning the receptionist told me they have no slot and no news until They call me after 1 month plus. But I’ve alr registered with another cc which is safari house. brought their uniforms and bed cot alr. As I’m urgent to place my girl in cc. I can’t tell which one is better right now. Should i go to Nurturestars school tour then compare and make a final decision?
