Currently my twins going to 6yrs old next yr are learning 3G abacus. They hv been learning since N2 till now but still using the beads without mental calculation. They started mental 2nd half this yr & calculation also doesn't seems very fast. Their teacher said hv to take time but they will be entering P1 soon (2016). Btw they hv their abacus lesson in cc (childcare ctr). The abacus teacher will come once a wk (1hr) to cc. I ever peeked & it's seem chaotic. When the teacher is teaching one student, the rest is running/playing at a corner. For me, i think it's quite distracting. I dun know to withdraw them & enrol the abacus in community centre or still continue 3G? Will they be confused if learn new abacus? I need advices pls.... :?: :?: :?:

I’m a sahm with 3 kids (5yo b/g twins & 29mo boy). Currently my twins are in Carpe Diem Young Minds & 29mo boy at home. Thinking to switch the twins to PCF 4hrs class but dun know now is the appropriate time to change? Dun know how is PCF standard of teaching & curriculum?

hi, may i know if the teaching method between 3G & CMA different? now my kids are coming to the end of 2nd term & 3rd term starting soon in June. i dun know to withdraw or continue? of cos CMA is more exp but is it better than 3G?

they are now at mid 2nd term of their abacus lesson. taught by 3G in their cc 1hr per lesson once a week. up till now they yet to start to learn abacus, most of the time is colouring & writing numbers. or maybe for N2 abacus class is like tat? i really clueless about it. i feel quite waste to pay $210x2pax per term for writing & colouring only.

i dun know to let them continue or withdraw from the 3rd term?
or let them join CMA for mental arithmetic?

can pls give me advise? i really headache!!!
