Hui had 70 stamps and Jia had 430 stamps. After their father gave them an equal number of stamps. Jia had 4 times as many stamps as Hui. How many stamps did their father give to each of them?

1. Jia has 360 more stamps than Hui.
2. After their father gave them an equal no of stamps, Jia still has 360 stamps more than Hui.
3. This 360 difference is 3x more than Hui (4x - 1x = 3x).
4. So Hui has 120 stamps. (360/3)
5. So his dad gave 120-70 = 50.
