I used to get mine from garden picks. They are very fresh and you can order online and they will deliver to your house. It saves me the hassle of going to Mustafa which I used to go. Garden Picks is fresher but Mustafa can be cheaper for some of the nuts.

RE: The Alternative Story (TAS) - Discussion
So far its always some writing is done for each lesson. I dont have a kid in P1 at TAS but my friend just registered recently and for both the lessons her son went for, there is writing. Maybe you could check with the teacher, there could be writing but it could be done on the whiteboard- not too sure abt this as I usually see writing on paper.

I dont think this prog is suitable for preschoolers. i have a friend who attended it as part of her workplace management seminar. She said it is not too bad but you must make a consistent effort to apply if not after a while it will be just another seminar that you chalk up at work. Kids might find it hard to apply.

Based on your list, prob TLL is the only thumbs up centre for both subjects you looking at
Yup, seems like if you want both subjects in the same centre, then go for TLL. I said that I did not have personal experience with the Math centres you mentioned, actually I did enroll my kids in TLL Math before. But they could not cope with difficulty level, I did not want to mention it as I find they are good just not suitable for my kids.
Now my kids are at JEI, coping well. -

I find it difficult to get turkey done without it being overdry. Any suggestions?
Some cooks suggest putting the bird on a rack, then have a dish filled with water at the bottom to keep the oven damp. Or do a really slow roast. -
RE: All About Preparing For PSLE
Reading newspapers helps, reading readers digest articles are good too. I am also cutting out newspaper articles for my kids to read but they are rather resistant to them, they prefer fiction.

TAS does not do Math, some of their teachers travel to the different centres. All should be using the same materials and teachers are trained to teach in the same way.
For Math, I have not personally tried all the centres that you have mentioned but I heard
good feedback from my friends for Concept Math and Andrew Er.
