Hi Anjelica, my 3 kids went/go to PMCK. The teachers are fantastic. There are a few teachers who's been there for many many years, so they are very experienced. Come to think of it, from my experience, the team only took 2-3 days to settle in all the new kids in January, within 2-3 days there were no tears, only happy kids. What I like about the school is the care and love by all, including the helpers and cook. Principal is also great, very hands on. She can be strict at times, but in a very loving and caring way, like all the teachers. Most of them are late 30s and 40s and have nurturing and motherly caring attitude.

I am a very happy mom. They are quite holistic and have strength in character development. Of course, curriculum is normal as they only have 3 hours, but its good enough for me cos my son was able to adapt very quickly in Primary 1. They use Jolly Phonics and my kids were able to read and write both English and Chinese by 4.5.

If you want more, they have in-house enrichment by external teachers on speech n drama like Helen ogrady etc, Chinese too. It's great cos then u can use CDA. I have tried a few schools and this one makes the cut. My children can't wait to go to school and come home smiling every day. Hope this helps.

Do we fill up forms on the spot or can we download somewhere and pre-fill? One hour at school canteen, I doubt will buy uniform and books that day cos was told queue usually very long. Hope can find out dates to go back again for purchasing.

Hi there, my son will be going to Tao Nan and I am worried about the stress of putting him in such a good school, eg is it a lot more stressful, workload, expectations etc. I’d love to think that my son is great in his studies but he is really just an average kid. Happy and cheerful and didn’t quite learn reading until about 5 and Chinese speech n reading only picked up at 5. I am worried that he may not be able to handle a school that is known to have good academic results. To all current Tao Nan parents, is it stressful there? Will the child be asked to move out if he can’t catch up. I want my child to grow up happy so I am not sure if it is very tough i Tao Nan…versus a neighbourhood school near my house. Any experience to share? Thanks!

I am looking for a piano teacher for my 5 year old for Grade 1 / beginners. He can play very basic. Would like to have a teacher who is able to travel to our place in Pasir Ris. Looking for a teacher who is friendly with young kids as my son is quite shy. If anyone has a good teacher to recommend, pls PM the infor, extremely appreciative of it

Thinking of sending my child there at Pasir Ris for the childcare >18mths. Anybody has any feedback? I’ve seen the childcare from outside, the layout is really nice and they are neat and clean. From what I see very briefly, the children seem happy too. Anybody has experience there? Care to share?
