Hi, for those mummies whose boys are in morning star, can you share with me what are the routine like? What meals are provided in the school care? and do they have showering facilities? Will there be someone to coach them on their homework/spelling daily?


Also, during the school holidays, what did the boys do?

FYI.

During school days, this is their routine:
- Lunch; food is catered from one of the stalls from the canteen (Mix & Match). They will either have rice or noodle with dishes.
- Shower; there is shower facilities besides the student care.
- Homework; the boys are suppose to do homework on their own but the in charge will help them if they do not know or understand how to do it.
- Nap
- Tea Break
- Outdoor games; badminton or soccer
- Silent reading
- Home

During school holidays, this is is their routine:

- Lesson time
- Soccer
- Shower
- Lunch
- Nap
- Watch DVDs (movies) on TV
- Tea Break
- Soccer
- Silent reading
- Home

Morning Star will arrange for excursions during the school holidays. In this June holidays, the boys had went to River Safari and Gardens by the Bay :imcool:

We will have to pay money (bus and entrance fees) for these excursions.

Anyone who will be registering next week under Phase 2B and is staying >2km from the school?


Looking at the past statistics, there will be balloting for >2km but the number of vacancies for this year is lesser because they have reduced their intake by 30 seats.

I am feeling the stress now…
