beemum:Hi, my children have been attending True Learning Centre since P6 and Sec 4. The younger one will be in JC2 next year while the older one has already graduated. I am grateful that the centre has helped my children to excel in their studies and that's why I continue to enroll them year after year. I found out that this centre has many loyal parents who, like me, have stayed on until their children finish at A-level. If you are still looking around for IP Math tuition for your child, you may want to consider True Learning.Hi,
Anyone has experience with their Jurong centre for IP Math Sec 1.
Thanks

Hi Jenn,
Hi, I happen to read your post. My children have been attending classes in true learning centre since P6 and Sec 4. The younger one is currently in the sec 3ip math while the older one has already graduated from JC last year. While in primary school, my younger one had enjoyed the science lessons and had done well in PSLE. As true learning only offers math for secondary levels, she could only join the secondary math class. Overall, I am very happy with the centre as I could see the gradual improvement in their grades since the time they joined the centre. According to my children, many of their classmates have been with the centre for many years. As you live in hougang/sengkang/punggol area, you can consider their Kovan branch or Novena branch. My children are from their Jurong branch.jennlim:
Hi parents,
Any good centre for science lesson to recommend for p3? Prefers it to be around hougang/sengkang/punggol areas.
I saw smartlab & true learning. Any reviews on thee two centres?
Hope the sharing helps.
could you share more about the teaching methods in true learning for ip math from your younger child? Thanks in advance.
Hi,
not sure if this is the right forum to talk about math as the title is Science classes p3. Anyway, my dd told me that in each lesson the tutor will teach the concepts and will use examples to illustrate how the concepts are being applied in different scenarios. In the next half of the lesson, the tutor will give them a set of worksheet to work on to check their understanding and their ability to apply the concepts learnt. This seems to be the model adopted by true learning centre for their ip math lessons. -

Hi, I read some good reviews about True Learning Centre in this forum. Could you share your children's learning experience in this tuition centre? My children will be taking the PSLE and O level this year, and I am thinking of enrolling them in this centre soon.sembgal:
MindStretcher students go to Just Education for tuition. How I know? U go check with Just Education staff. If one child from MindStretcher cross over to JustEducation, soon all the rest will follow. Eventually, one by one leave and that is when waitlist students get in. Sometimes, it has to do with the attitude of the staff at MS too.
It seems that many parents are withdrawing their children from MindStretcher. My children in True Learning Centre told me that some of their classmates were formerly from MindStretcher (yoha@Jurong). Both centres are located under the same roof. -

Any feedback from parents Mindstretcher Maths is better or Just Edu Maths (in terms of their materials).
I heard that Just hires people to write their materials. Are these writers qualified and experienced teachers or are they just undergraduates or polytechnic students? What about Mindstretcher? Who wrote their curriculum? Anyone knows of any learning centres who engages experienced teachers to write and to teach in their centres? -

Not too long ago, a Chinese national hijacked a taxi in Budget Terminal and caused the death of a cleaner. Now another Chinese national caused the death of a taxi driver. Wonder what’s next…
