      1. There were some red chips and blue chips in a box. If 30 red chips were removed from the box, the ratio of the nuber of red chips to the number of blue chips would be 2:3. If instead, 53 blue chips were removed from the box, the ratio of the number of red chips to the number of blue chips would be 5:4. How many red chips were there in the box at first?

      It is better to use ratio method.
