Thank you huaywenandkenneth for sharing information about BTPS. I am glad to know that BTPS is a good school also.


While we as parents try hard to get our children to ‘hot’ schools, we should not let them feel they have to go to a 2nd class school if we are balloted out. Anyway children will quickly get used to a new school and enjoy life there. In the end it is our children’s own quality that makes the most difference.

Update for PHPS, 44 applicants within 1km, sure balloting already.

Actually I find Singapore Education System very complex - from P1 prep, registration and balloting, to P3 school streaming, then GEP, and the P6 DSA, PSLE S1 posting. :roll:

It's a subject for parents to study. Need planning and strategising and lots of praying to maximise score!

This is because MOE likes to differentiate students. They like create new grouping scheme. So you see higher mother tongue, Chinese A Chinese B, there could be A1 and A2 in future
