Where can I find banding for past years? Annex A1 shows only banding based on 2008 O-level exam :?

      Thanks maisy! 😄

Sorry i did not read your previous post.
Could you please direct me to it?

After discussing with my son, he has decided against VS cos he is worried that he will be at the bottom.
So it is now between Maris stella and TKSS.
Yes, Maris stella was impressive during my time.
Whereas TK tech at that time wasn't. I know cos i was from TKGS, and my brother was from the former TK tech.
But seems like TKSS has worked hard and improved rapidly over the years.
However i will be going down to take a look at both schools tomorrow.
      Thanks once again, maisy!
Saw this on another forum re Maris Stella. Any comment?

My son scored 241 and we reside in Bishan area. Catholic and Anderson are out of reach now. Need advice on what schools to choose from Ang Mo Kio, Bishan, Toa Payoh or nearby area? TIA.

My son scored 241. Need advice for a good sec school in Bishan, Ang Mo Kio and Toa Payoh areas. Is it unwise to try Anderson COP 248? Am also looking at St Andrew’s and Maris Stella cos they offer interesting CCAs, but was concern about the travelling time which is approx 25 mins by bus. Is that far for sec students?

if same passge but ask different questions, it is confusing for the kids esp if they just do the paper recently...is this good or bad?

If same passage means kids would have understand the passage already, since they did it before. So even if different questions, should have no problem. Comprehension is testing the ability to understand the passage right?

or is it a matter of how well the school has prepared the kids?'.

Ah, my child's school has been intensively preparing them the whole yr and they still found it difficult too. Yea, they r not so strong in CL. Better in math/sc.

Anw, he said his CL tr was in charge of invigilating the GEP classes, and told them \"wah, their answers all correct and they wrote alot, so if you didn't write so much, you all die, liao\". This CL tr v \"classic\", man! But she's really dedicated to coaching them in reality.

Just how much are they expected to write for each answer, in general? My son is the lazy kind who hates writing chinese characters so usually answers are very short.
