why is the feedback in SJC bad or rather no one seems to know about this school? I came to know this school through a girl who is in Sec 1 this year. Went to do some homework and it seems quite near from woodlands as there is a direct bus. but when I asked around anyone know CHIJ SJC, no one heard about it. sigh.... how bad is the bad? what were the police case about? if no convenient, can pm me and let me know please? I'm looking for a convent school for my dd but woodlands has nothing. St Nick no chance and it's quite far for us. Pls advise if possible.

Hi, the school is not that bad in my opinion. My girl is currently with this school and is enjoying herself. She's motivated and her circles of friends are fun and studious type. I am sure there are some 'playful' ones but as long as your girl have the discernment to recognise the correct behaviour, it should be fine.

btw, my girl just 4mths into this school (Sec 1 this yr), maybe the reason why she's happy ..still in exploring mode 🙂

Anyone interested in forming a group for TAS' June Holiday Program?

      Please PM me. Thanks.

      Hi,

I'm interested for P5 TAS at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre.

      Hi catddy2002<

Just PM you. Our child need not go for the same branch/timing for the holiday program. As long as we both submit our child's details to TAS they will process based on Early Bird Group discount.

Mine is 231 . I always prefer a girls school. So didn’t want any other school and opt for SJC as my 1st choice.

A super tutor told me the school environment is good but academics standard just so so. To me, school environment more important. Academic wise, she still have 4yrs to work hard & do well for her O level…which can be nurture

Hi my dd t-score is 237. The cut of point for this school is 229 (based on the book). I know they take in students above 230 non affliation. My girl has this group of friends (most have similar Tscore ) whom she hang studying together , always motivating one another. They are really the studious type and very sweet bunch, they were all discussing to go to this school. I felt assured with my girl and her friends, which is the reason why I am putting her in.

Every school has good and bad students. This school does produce good students whom make it to JC/poly. I’m sure this school will add value to my child learning journey.

I am also looking to put my girl in this school. I heard the new principal is good and trying to make a lot of changes to the bad image of the school. I met her and saw her enthusiastism to add value to this school.

I saw my neighbour daughter change for the better after 1yr with the school. She has become more well mannered and willing to help others. I do see positive impact the school has on her. So I’m likely to put my girl in this school.
