I you get a nice Grab driver, try to ask him if he can offer a paid service to drive your son to school at the fixed time. He might comply as it will be a fixed regular income for him. Maybe bring your son first before starting his route.

Hi there, my son (non-SC, we just arrived in SG, long story) got allocated to Zhonghua PS by MOE. We really like the school, but grossly underestimated the difficulty in getting him to school in the morning (no school bus available, took us 30 mins to get a Grab ride at 6.45 am; we’re in Thomson, near Thomson Plaza)!


We’re thinking of speaking to our MP, but I thought I’d try my luck and see if there’re any parents living in Thomson as well to connect with?
