Not a student from RGS but have been very unhappy with experiences with their school lately. They recently entered the Singapore Youth Science Fair competition and won some awards. Thats totally fine and I applaud the students for their work. However when you dig deeper you find that the students all had professors guiding their research, which is also fine, but not when entering a YOUTH science fair. It gets even worse when you realise some of the participating teams have barely any guidance from the teachers. I understand that the competition has some measures to prevent this from happening, but the moment a proffesor steps in, they should not be allowed to participate. I am not angry with the students, however I am angry with the school to have such audacity to submit this work to a youth science competition. So stop believing that RGS is this great school. even if they give your children opportunities. it will lead them in a morally wrong path. I think that you should stay away from rgs at all costs

So dont fool yourself and think that RGS is a good school. they will misguide your child and cause them to be dishonest idiots.
