I hope DS can pursue high chinese in primary school. Is it true that only SAP school offers higher chinese in their curriculum? So students in other primary school has no chance to take higher chinese? :scratchhead: :scratchhead:

All schools will offer HCL sooner or later. SAP schools offer Higher Chinese from P1 to P6 (mandatory from P1 - P4). Able to drop HCL to do normal Chinese at P5-P6 if kid cannot manage. Other non-SAP schools do not provide HCL from P1, but some offer from P2 onwards (if kid scores >Band 1 for normal chinese). Some others offer HCL only from P5 which is a bit late.

My hubby is old boy of Yu Neng Pri Sch. I’m half-hearted if i want to send my boy to Yu Neng coz we are staying in Hougang area, abit far. Do you think Yu Neng Pri Sch is a good sch? If so, why?
