For njc, 3rd language cannot replace other subjects. It seems counted towards overall percentage score after I calculated all the subjects. If student still show interest and can perform satisfactory after proper time management, it should be ok to continue next level.

Congrats to your good result. Welcome to njc as believe your score virtually can enter.
DS chose njc over r n h family even though he qualify as he felt peer pressure n very competitive over these two top schools. In njc, he has some chance for some programs like accelerated maths which he top maths in his class. He also can continue jap third language as still can manage. Most important he likes the boarding program n mixed gender environment.

Sorry for boarding financial assistance , I have no idea for non Singaporeans

Only a handful in DS class went for tuition. In fact the principal discouraged tuition for the students n the mentors or teachers are there to guide n help.

Most of the students like boarding in njc n DS prefers it to return home during sec 1 .

Seem Anderson thread quite quiet… A few of DS classmates in sec 1 are happy with the environment n the school … It is top mixed gender under o level track
