    • RE: Guangyang Primary

      hi,

my daughter is currently in p1 guangyang primary…(I could not get a place for her to Ai tong despite a 75 pct chance!!!)…initially I and my wife were apprehensive cos we have never heard of GYPS. After nearly a yr , my daughter feels very comfy in the school …they have friendly staff…teachers and a new principal…mdm wu …though I have not spoken to the P yet…i find her style very suitable for GYPS if the school wan further progress in both academic and non academic fields. And I have enrolled my second daughter to GYPS without a second thought or stress at all.

Mixing with people from all walks of life, local or non local…are very important skill sets if ur kids want to succeed. cos the real world is not perfect world…perfect academic scores or perfect eca scores count for nothing in the real world if you dont hv good social skills…moral skills…a bit of good luck…good family bonding/support and surrounded by genuine good friends.

Thus, i feel parents should not be overly concerned about brand names primary schools or brand name perceptions…more importantly, ur kids must be taught good family values…good moral character and more importantly, ability to respect people of different backgrounds, different races and different lifestyles…
