We brought our girl to attend the open house of HAIG Girls this morning, we have toured around the school, my girl loves the school premises and environment. However, we may not opted HAIG Girls as was told the school bus don't travel to my in-law place near Kallang MRT

We like to enrol girl to HGS, my girl loves art, and this school have good art education programme. However, both myself and hubby comes from mixed school, also a bit worried how different will it be between a girls school and mixed school environment, some of my girl's K2 parents kept telling me mixed school environment is better, as in girls school, the girls may be more tomboys and rough. The decision we made will pave the way to her future :scratchhead:

Haig Girl's is also nearer to my place (less than 1km). I had been to the school compound with my hubby last week, we love the school environment. I have heard lots of positive feedback on this girls school.

We are still deciding whether to put her to Haig or Geylang Methodist Primary which is between 1km - 2km distance. I heard from my friend who has a son studying P1 there, there are many homeworks, and the father after returning from a busy day work have to do homework and study with the child, very tiring and stressful for both the child and the father.

This is our first time experience to enrol our child for Primary One.  
This morning, I and my hubby made a visit to Haig Girl, a girl school we only recently heard of. We have a pleasant feel of the school serene and quiet environment. Both of us have a good impression of Haig Girl.  We were told by the Admin lady that somewhere in July, the school will have a open house for the public to visit and to learn more about the school.  We are happy to register our girl into this girl school
