Yep truly agreed with ycpang, we can’t depend on the teacher 100%. Having said that having more or less homework is not a tool to gauage how well is our child doing in school and whether our child understand a certain topic. Here comes our role being parents to spend time to do the necessary revision with our child. I do agree that foundation is important however we cannot depend on teachers fully on that.


Side track: Does anyone knows what time does our kid need to report to school this Friday, the circular only states the dismissal time but no reporting time. Is it 7.10am, 7.20am or 7.30am?

Yes apparently there was a change of management, HQ is running the centres themselves rather than leaving it to the franchisee. My DS also affected sigh! cos the teacher is unable to run the programs in the nearby RC which we went to. No choice but to look for other programs.

essieng: My opinion, since there was already and overwhelming response at TNS, be prepared that the parents might swarm Ngee Ann at 2C thus leading to possibility of balloting. Cos i heard my gf telling me that for las year for 2C, TNS called them up to withdraw for those staying 1-2km else once the registration phase over, might lose a chance to get into the next school of choice

waterfall: Yes i know what you meant cos we ever got stuck along that narrow road cos the owner of the car simply left the car to pick up the kids and the cars kept coming from the opposite side and our lane simply won’t move! Sigh!


The other day when we got down, no cars parked along the narrow side cos there was a parking warrant standing there!

Oh yes babyJC, my DS came back late on Wed night, reach home only at 7.15pm which is later than usual. I asked him what happen he told there was a jam in school. Yesterday my DH and I went down to the school to pick him up and there were no cars park along the road entering the car park which causes the jam. Well yesterday we overheard a man arguing with the parking warrant, sigh…I guess early bird catches the worm. The school bus uncles reaches the carpark as early as 5.30pm.

Hmm…did u rec’d any notice from the school, in fact i hear say from one of my gf…so far didn’t see any written notice fm school leh.

Does anyone knows whether is it a school holiday on Monday? Youth day?
