no, not only they change the items, but they change the numbers, too: the answer for the bookmarks is different from the answer for the question on erasers, in term of number ($11 vs $21)

If my DS is not wrong. Emily bought some

erasers. If she gives 8 erasers to each fren, she needs 3 more. If she gives 7 to each fren, she will have 3 left. How many erasers did she buy?
the right answer would be 45 erasers (for 6 friends)
That probably also explain why result can be out so quickly. Not that many questions to mark

not really, if this is kind of MCQ: MCQ can even be automatically evaluated using computer, so it can even give you the result in one or two days.

I thought there's open ended too?
not sure, but if they really want to use computer to mark, they can still separate the MCQ part out from the rest. having less to evaluate would reduce the total mark time.

      just my guess, however.

      I totally agree.

I just dont understand why some \"parents\" (not sure whether they are really parents) are so curious about the quesitons. Is there any use to discuss at this stage? It might be useful only for the tuition centers.
simply because i want to ask my son if he did that question right, or wrong. this is the only way to (partly) know how well he did his exam, given he would not remember any question, and i dont really trust his feeling (that he did well, or not)

Yup, it's very possible that they have different papers. Though my friend's son and mine took the test in the same centre last year, they have different compre passages. And from a source, only selected questions are taken into account for selection. So, there's really no need to compare questions and answers.

very interesting! never seen any exam like this if this is true

My son recalled one question, think it is paper 2 question 1. One pen costs $1 and one eraser costs $0.50. During a sale, every 3 pens bought will get one free eraser, how much does it cost if a man bought 20 pens and 8 erasers? His answer is $21.

yes $21 is the right answer.

I thought we are not supposed to reveal the questions?
there is no such a thing. you dont see many questions leaked, simply because kids cannot remember many of them.
