    • RE: Teaching Chinese at Home

      Hi there,

Thanks for all the reply. As a person with no chinese educational background, I prefer Chinese books with HYPY / billingual.

For the Odonata books, I bought the \"100 words\" set from Popular (8 books + 1 Audio CD + flashcards), around S$36+ (after 10% off). I went to the publisher website and compare the price there (in RM), etc. To make the story short, the publisher gave 1 agent contact in Johor that sells the books! šŸ™‚

      JB UNI SUCCESS
      41, Jalan Molek 1/8,
      Taman Molek, 81100
      Johor Bahru, Johor.
      Tel: 07-3560 666

So, I decided to buy the rest of the sets from them (get them to deliver the books to my friend's house in JB). Ie: 200 words set (8 books + 1 audio CD + flash card = RM44 + RM6.3 + RM18.5). They give 25% off, become RM51.6 (around S$22-23 in total).

      Em,

The books from PanAsia, is there English translation there?

By the way, I found some other Singapore website selling Chinese books (graded level):
      http://scrollinc.com/product.html
      http://www.edventurebooks.com/tiptop/index.html
      http://www.tokomama.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=164_268

      Thanks...

Just read \"tamarind\" post regarding Sage books from Popular. Looks like http://www.popular.com.sg don't sell these books anymore. Found the website from HK instead:

      http://www.sagebooks.com.hk/component/option,com_virtuemart/page,shop.browse/category_id,7/Itemid,26/

They are selling 1 book at HK$109, so 5 books total HK$545 (S$98.0376). Wow....quite exp (compare to popular selling at S$5.9 each?)

Anyone knows where to find this book in Singapore? Thanks....
