I’m an incoming literature undergraduate looking to give literature consultations/crash courses for literature basics for the June holidays. The lessons (both individuals and small groups are welcome) will consist of 2-4 lessons (this is of course, dependent on one’s needs and preferences) to build up a strong foundation in Unseen and set text analysis, and clarify any doubts which the tutees might have. I would also focus on developing a strategy for said tutee to continue building up his/her proficiency in literature over a longer period of time while developing a keen appreciation for it. I’ve been teaching literature tuition for about 2 years part-time and recently completed a stint teaching literature at an IP school, so I’m familiar and comfortable with literature pedagogy at the secondary school level.
