lameking:Hi,
I understand the comments given by some parents, and we do acknowledge and accept the comments. As mentioned, we know we could have done better, and I am not waving off all comments given by parents. I am referring to the way the comments are made and I just want to remind all forum users to be mindful of others' feelings. I do accept that the message and purpose was not clearly communicated enough during Fright Night, but one thing I would like to clarify is, Fright Night remains a surprise traditionally. We do not want to tell them first thing in the morning that there's Fright Night later on because we want them to remain focussed on the given activities and tasks throughout the day, not spend their time worrying or thinking or readying themselves mentally for the next activity. By doing this, we can genuinely test their readiness to perform as a class or as a batch during activities.
YEAH!
