any idea why so many vacancies even after phase c compared to last few years??

I think of the relocating to the holding site for 2 years, there are parents who are staying near TKPS find a little out of the way especially if they have 2 kids ,one in the morning and one in the afternoon class.

Hope I wouldn't offend anyone.... In fact there is still Telok Kurau Pri add this location. Which if by looking at it,it is not very far off if take Opera Estate as the next nearest in nearby Marine Parade area, TKP is also available for consideration.

No lah. Telok Kurau Primary is no longer at Telok Kurau. It's actually on the other side of the PIE at Bedok Reservoir Road. East Coast Primary at Chai Chee is nearer, with a lot of vacancies for P2Cs.

This year Telok Kurau Pri balloting needed for P2C no more vacancy for P2Cs.

Yeah, my friend said tKPS relaxed now.. she checking the updates now.

I think TKPS registration atmosphere is more relaxed simply because it accept internet registration but not Ngee Ann Pri and Tao Nan Pri. By looking at the numbers as at 31st July TKPS no of applicant 95 and Ngee Ann 102 .I do not think TKPS is less popular.

Can I confirm that the Orientation for TKPS Primary 1 is 10 Nov 2012? What time??
Do you know what is the schedule like; do they have mass briefing for parents and children for p1 curriculum? Can we talk to the bus operators? and will there be CCAs on display too?

It is at 9 am.From what I heard the bus operators will be there , but not too sure about the schedule.

My DS just got in after a very stressful balloting today, so relieved TKPS was my first choice of school, so glad we got in...looking forward to the orientation on NOv 10th!!

i am in trouble, my daughter dint get in 2C for tanjong katong primary school. They had called me today to inform that will be balloting for 1-2kms and above 2kms are unsucessful applicants. I am beyong 2kms.
well kindly suggest any school around bedok? nor that i have much choice, as CHIJ katong if full, haig girls balloting..
Any reviews about Opera Estate school ?

out of 68 registered:
55 (SC) stay within 1 km. No PR.

if out of 1 km, no chance to ballot.

balloting (for < 1km) takes place next Wed, 25 July
time: 9 am, morning
venue: once you enter school compound, signboard will be placed up clearly, directing you to the respective room for balloting.

to avoid disappointment -
as balloting within 1 km is stressful, please do Not bring your child along.
