I think one of the biggest difference is that NJC does not have HMT and in RV it is compulsory to take HMT. I think of RV as a second NYG as they are similar in many ways: Strong Chinese foundation, compulsory HMT etc.

Also consider the traveling time.

Other than the things stated, those two schools have not much difference.

I am an ex-Lakeside student and I took PSLE this year so I'm familiar with most of the questions here

For the highest score: 265 + 3 HMT marks
The top few classes-
P4: 4H (best), 4G (2nd best)
P5: 5H, 5G
P6: 6H, 6G
There are usually lesser classes in the top levels compared to P1 and P2s.

The P6s in the top two classes usually score quite well for their PSLE and are able to get into fairly good schools

I'm not sure about the percentage scored > 250, but there are quite a few.
