if you want convenience, you can list it to go free on carousell. I did that for all the books the family have been hoarding over the years. someone out there could really find your kindness helpful

RE: Why all the hate against foreigners?
well the Siamese came first, fleed in chaos. then the colonial British/Dutch/British. They fled when the Japanese came. Japanese occupation wasn’t the sweetest of memories.

RE: Past Year Exam Papers
hi I’m quite confused. I noticed there are many different publishers for the past year papers. But shouldn’t it all be the same paper that students take every year?

this is very touching to read! I'm hoping for the best for all slow bloomers out there! it's so unfortunate that the system here really penalizes late bloomers. I feel for the education, everyone deserves another chance. :salute:
My son's sec 4 prelim L1R5 was at 30+. When he showed me his results, I just told him calmly to just try to figure out what he could do with those scores if those were his actual O results (no mocking but matter-of-factly as mocking at that moment might been trying to rub salt onto wounds and that would not be helpful at all).vividlaurel\" post_id=\"1902850\" time=\"1552638432\" user_id=\"2712:
Wow! That was really drastic! But since it gave the results, guess this keeping away is something we all parents need to learn. Let them fail sometimes and then they learn! Thanks for sharing
Within few months he improved more than 50% from that score by his own will (as I said, as long as not 'slow' type, still can buck up in those last minutes. Reading your post, it does seem like your son is not the 'slow' type but just maybe require some harder knocks that no one, other himself, has to go through).
Now my son is in his mid twenties + with very close bond with me (buys me dresses for my birthdays, cooks for me, still will crawl into my bed besides me to talk about his 'future', asking for tips on saving money, starting a family, planning for kids, etc). This has always been my bigger objective for parent-child relationships, that such should not be marred with the 'conflicts' of what to score for exams).
All the best to you! -

just curious, what's the mother tongue your children is taking in school?
My husband is from the Philippines and at home we are used in speaking in English and Filipino. But we are planning to have our children enrolled in a Chinese tutorial center because we believe that this will give them an edge in their studies and will be useful once the enter the world of employment here in SG. -
RE: Rude using hp during meals time?
if the total meal time on average is 45 mins -1hour, it should be ok for us adults to pick up calls and do important stuff with the phone right?
