Title: What SG50 means to me

As we progressed as a nation for the last 50years, i have great memories of growing up in a society that was together in spirit and strength. We saw new towns being built from Toa Payoh to Jurong. We forged great friendships in schools and also whilst serving our national service. In unity, we went through the Asian financial crisis, went through SARS but yet those events cannot compare to the Occupation years our predecessors went through.

I hope for the next 50yrs as we progress & prosper together as one people & one nation, let us not forget to achieve happiness for our nation. There is no country without a united people and that to me is SG50.
