To put it simply, even if now u know u are ranked 15/50 WL, there is no guarantee 15 pple will give up CO. If u are ranked 40/50, there is no guarantee there will not be 40 pple giving up CO. It is a big unknown and worrying will not solve it. We have done our best and this is the outcome. Time to move on. Only can confirm in end nov, gonna worry till then? Finish psle, enjoy the break with your kid!

On the contrary, i think many schools have not informed of the results. The schools are given till 30 Aug to process the applications and have the right to hold till then. Parents are anxious but it is not the schools’ obligation to ease such anxiety. Your child have already done their best nothing else left to do. Focus on prelim and PSLE, still need to work hard for that.

Take a scenario that my kid is offered a WL for RI, WL for HCI n CO for ACSI. Take an assumption of the below choice that my child put :

1st choice : RI (WL)
2nd choice : HCI (WL)
3rd Choice : ACSI (CO)

Assume eventually he still couldnt get a conversion fr WL into CO for both RI n HCI after the release of result, will he still get into ACSI since he was already offered a CO, even thou he did not put as his 1st 2 choices?
