My gal also will going to chij oln next yr. So worried when I saw this thread. Who told you those horror stories abt bullying? If this is the case, to report to form teacher or principal will be helpful ?
Also not many threasd commented on this school, Is this school academically strong? Compared to other schools in Hongang and Sengkang area, like Punggol primary school, compassvale primary school, will this school have any distingtive advantage? Understood from the PLSE score statistics, they are really not good at Maths and Science.

Definitely waste lot of time and effort and money(especially for those SHKK members) for those parents. Any advice if failed on 2B balloting, other chance for us to get into NCP as 2C registion is not applicable for those live within1-2km.

Also anybody family with the school of the CHIJ the lady of Nativity, compare to Compassvale and Rivervale Primary School, which one is better ?

Any body have idea NCP released how many letters for PV and SHKK member? The school should already have this information at this stage although they maynot know how many parent endored as an active community leader will enrol their child? Also when will the parent know whether we need to do the balloting or not?

i am looking at 2010 record, base on the record, for nan chiau, the phrase 2B there are balloting, and 2C as well. Let say if I am in phrase 2B and i din manage to let a slot from the ballot, can I still join the phrase 2C, let say I stay within 1km from the school.

For 2010, the P2B balloting is for 1-2km, >2km totally no hope. All in for those stay <1km. If you say you stay within 1km, you should have got a place in P2B, no need to go to P2C. I'm a GRL, stays <1km, no ballot for NCPS P2B in 2010.

Also the website of SHKK mentioned, "You will be informed by the School if your application is successful." If this is the case, Usually when will the school notify us the application result. Also if really failed, is it really no chance to appeal ?? How should we do? Ask SHKK or ask School?

Heard from 1 parent, the application form need some council member from SHKK's signautre, if this is the case, who will help us to get this signature.
