    • RE: Comparing Math Enrichment Programmes

To give some context to my recommendation.

I faced a dilemma last year. My Primary 4 daughter was getting bored by her regular school Math worksheets and lessons.

Even after she was identified as a High Achiever Learner and selected to do E2K Math in school, she was barely interested in her Math lessons, though she was scoring above 95% in the examinations.

I was looking for a PSLE math enrichment to stretch her potential, preferably one that incorporates Advanced School Math Concepts from the GEP and Math Olympiads, to boost her AL1 chances in the PSLE.

I shortlisted Nicklebee Tutors and waitlisted my daughter for their \"Advanced School Math\" lessons.

After months on the waitlist, she enrolled for this year's P5 Advanced School Math class and I am happy to report that she is enjoying her lessons at Nicklebee Tutors and her interest in Math has been re-ignited! The worksheets and materials are 30% - 40% tougher than the regular school work and my daughter feedback that the questions are indeed challenging and though provoking.

At her request, she will be transferring to the upcoming 12-month Advanced PSLE Math Masterclass run by Nicklebee Tutors head teacher Mr Zhou.

My humble feedback to give back to the community. Tks. 🙏

Hi, am looking for Pri.5 and Pri.6 Nicklebee Tutors \"Advanced School Math\" materials

Heard their materials much higher than school standard

      Please PM me thank you!
Nicklebee Tutors \"Advanced School Math\" worksheets and assignments are about 30% - 40% tougher that my daughter's Math regular school work. She said that the lessons and materials are better than her E2K Math in school.

I am interested in the Advanced PSLE Math Class conducted by \"NickleBee Tutors\". However the link does not appear to be working properly anymore?

      Is this the right link?

NickleBee Math just opened a new branch in Bishan near Catholic High School. 😄

If you don't mind travelling to Bishan, I would recommend checking out their GEP and Math Olympiad courses.

Yes my eldest is P6. The https://www.ammielwan.com.sg/publications-1 got those \"math olympiad type\" questions that come out in top school mathematics examinations. Like those challenging 4 or 5 marks problem sums you see in raffles girls, nanyang, rosyth examinations kind of questions.

I also managed to buy the https://nicklebeetutors.com/our-math-resources/ from another parent. I think the nicklebee math materials are even more comprehensive and tougher than the get me thinking books and TLL materials. I am still looking for the nicklebee math p5 worksheets. If anyone has a copy for sale please let me know. Picture is from @mummyof3angels who has already sold her copy.

May I ask which school using Visual Math in school?

Visible Math is basic. I think it is easier than Marshall Cavendish books.

Then there is Challenging Math Made Easy which some schools are using for the students who are above average. Also written by same author
I am actually surprised one author write 3 levels of books.

Any idea which schools using this Get me thinking? If no school using, why they are not using?
My daughter's school was using \"Math Problems Made Easy by Ammiel Wan\" when she was in Primary 4 last year.

If your P1 or younger is bored with or advanced at school math, and is always curious about math, science and puzzles, it's a golden time to groom their potential! (before the monotony of school life sets in!)

We have had many P1s (and even younger!) who enjoyed our holiday programs. Indeed, we even have a N2 who is bravely taking on P4 MO content (and flourishing!)

Please take a look at https://avocadolab.sg/holiday-workshops/

How is your Math Olympiad program different from The Math Classroom Math Olympiad program? Mind sharing your Math Olympiad program track record? Tks. 🙏

This is The Math Classroom Math Olympiad results. Quite impressed. But I am looking for Math Olympiad training in smaller class size.
