A newbie here, and would appreciate some pointers if this question has been asked before.


My daughter was born in 2011. We are now staying in Sengkang.

We are thinking of buying a condo that gives us a good probability of getting our daughter into a good primary school. Budget is about 1m or a bit more; so I guess landed property in the city is probably out. Where shall we get started in our analysis?

- Which primary school gives the best value, in terms of high ranking and good probability of getting in if the condo we buy is nearby (<1km or <2km)?
- When is the latest that we should commit to the purchase, in the case of a new property and in the case of a resale?
- Once we identify the target primary school, shall we start applying for PV even before purchasing the condo?
