I'm surprised too! Especially Mee Toh school was a much sought after school, but the number of P1 applicants is not as high.

even there were 3 extra new schools.
I cant imagine when 2C open, how many applicants will be vying for the miserable 20 places.
If 2B were to ballot out, is it the next available phase they will register is phase 2C? Or sit out until phase 2C supplement?

Judging from the construction, i doubt it will open next Jan, probably those student had to go to a nearby sch for temporary placement.

balloting in Phase 2C occur on a DIFFERENT day, from the last day of Phase 2C Registration (Fri : 31 July)

Why ?
because the definition of \"Announcement of Results\" day means :
to announce whether your child get balloted in or out.
The Transparent balloting process (a small, ping pong ball will drop out of a fast turning, rotating cage, bearing your child's number) takes place right in front of all parents seated inside the auditorium / hall, to verify, whether your child get balloted in, or out.
3) What time, for Phase 2C balloting, on Wed (5 August) ?
some schools conduct in the morning at 9 am,
while other primary schools conduct in the afternoon, around 2 pm.
After the last day of Phase 2C Registration
ie. from Fri (31 July) until Tues (4 August) -
the P1 admin Officer from the primary school in which you have enrolled your child in, will contact parents & inform those P2C parents going to be involved in balloting : when is the exact date / time / venue to turn up, to witness the actual entire balloting process, inside school premises.
