KKH will arrange for an IQ test and assessment to determine whether your child can join mainstream or recommend for SPED. My son’s assessment was done around 4-5 months before start of the primary school / Pathlight registration.

If you decide to apply for Pathlight, KKH will also provide the paperwork for you and the childcare to complete and submit to Pathlight.

Through the school registration process, Pathlight will check back with parents and/or KKH if they need more information or reports as well. HTH!

Hi Parents, am new here. I have a boy coming to 4yo end of the year amd he has ASD. Currently in mainstream cc and eip 3 times a week. I don’t know whether in near future he can join a mainstream primary school or have to seek sped schools. But i want to gather more information. I read that Pathlight has a long Q. Does it mean when time come for a kid at 6yo prepare to enroll into Pathlight, he need to wait in Q or if he qualify he can enroll in time to start P1. Or I have to contact Pathlight in advance (before 6yo) to enroll him? Thank you.
