    • RE: Little Skool House

Hi Wonderwebmum, i have the same dilemma as you. Considering between childfirst or Lsh. Was inclined to choose LSH initially but now thinking twice again. From what i understand, LSH doesnt have any formal worksheets, they learn through experiences in class. The teachers will track their progress thru their observations and conduct and teach thru small group learning. Not too sure if this way of teaching will be able to prepare our child adequately for primary school. As for their teachers i was told that quite a no of them has been with LSH for abt 3 years or more. So i guess it is a good sign.

As for childfirst, i like the fact the idea of immersion program where my child will be expose to one language for half a day. Not forgetting their impressive pretend play room and spacious classrooms. But the feeling i get from this place is a little \"cold\", feels very corporate (commerical), lack of warmth which is impt for children of these tender ages.
Just some of my personal tots. šŸ™‚

    • RE: Agape Little Uni

It is a pity Agape becomes what it is now. I used to have frens who sent their lo there and they strongly recommend them but now all things has changed. Their turnover rate is veey high and in fact a lot of teachers there are less than 1 year. Their teachers are just thrown into the job and not all are well trained. no matter how good the curriculum was supposed to be. Without a good teacher, it will not be delivered across.

Any latest feedbacks or reviews or even info on LSH @ tampines? Thinking of registering my lo there. Went for their open house and the environment looks good and my lo enjoyed playing at the playground. But too sure abt the teachers and management. Any comments will be welcomed! TIA!

    • RE: Criteria for a Good Childcare Centre

      Hi all,

I’m a first time parent and new to this forum. Just wondering what are some of the concerns and questions I should be asking the centre. What are some things that I should take note when I first bring my child to school. Thanks in advance!
