Hi, would like to know from past years, if MGS students can appeal for the result of subject combination selection?

      TIA

The secondary schools should already know who accepted.

BUT all COs are conditional upon PSLE results. That’s why need to WAIT until PSLE results are known. Although it’s probably a teeny tiny number, it’s possible that a handful of COs and WLs will be voided if the PSLE results do not meet the stream that the school offers.

After this is known, only then the MOE computer can process the WLs, whether converted or not, depending on the vacancies available in the school.

Yes, by now, one week just before 21 November count-down,

all those DSA COs that were previously turned down (declined) by P6 candidates (and parents), ought to have been processed by now, ie. their seats released to candidates, on WL.

      But,

If the Total number of WL > (exceeded)
the Total number of CO turned down,
      then

somebody inside the WL, will be not converted.

Whether WL successful or not, the DSA school must inform (report back to) MOE that, for successful WL cases, a seat has already been allocated for this so-and-so student (pupil) name. And, this WL candidate not allowed to participate in S1 posting, anymore.

When the WL candidate open up the file containing PSLE results slip inside next Thurs (21 Nov) 11 am, he / she will know whether been successfully converted, or not

      Hi all,

      Just curious about dsa process.
By right now the secondary schools already have the list of students who accepted their DSA and who put their offer as the second or third option? So it is the matter of waiting 21 Nov and release it to the stidents?

Or the list will be coming from MOE on 21 as well? Sorry for the blunt question as till now I blurr with the meaning they will allocate the CO as long as it was selection as one of the option.

Hello, will parents allow to come to school on the PSLE result day? Based on previous years, may I know what time the students will be dismissed? Thanks so much

Yes, of course. Some schools will ask the children to be there earlier but results will be released at 11am. Some schools will do a brief overview of the school's results first then give out the results slips. Others will just distribute immediately.

Thanks for the info..likely it will end arnd 1pm :thankyou:
