Hello!!
Does anyone have a child taking French-in-lieu and starting year 3 or sec 3 in January 2023?
I'm looking for a fellow student to start a private tuition class with my dd at French Toast (Upp Thomson Road) :rahrah:
For 2 students, it costs only $42.5 per hour per student - even cheaper if you sign up for 23+1 package ($892.50 for 24 lessons)
For 3 students, it costs only $30 per hour! ($630 for 24 hours!) If your child already has a class at MOELC and wants to have extra classes with my dd as booster, he/she is welcome to join in too!
Please PM me if you are interested!! Thank you :please:

Once reach A level in Year (5 & 6), in All Junior Colleges, not just RI only, only Double Science is allowed, no more Triple Science allowed, regardless of what contrasting subject chosen.
So, either take
H2 (Physics + Chemistry) double Science, or
H2 (Biology + Chemistry) double Science, if u are in A-level Science stream, taking H2 CMXY, where
C : Chemistry (compulsory)
M : Maths
X : either Physics or Biology, not sure if F Maths is also allowed
Y : the contrasting subject

There is no much difference in the material given and sometime the worksheets are exactly the same! Are they using the same material? Thanks.
Just to share my daughter's experience in her P5 HA Creative writing and English classes at Bishan. Over this year, she has improved greatly in her English and composition results at this end of year exam. To be frank, the credit should go to her MS English teacher who is ever so patient and encouraging. However, we are sad to find out that she will not longer be teaching in the centre next year. We do not know the reason but possibly there is something behind the scene...anyway, we wish the teacher well and hope the centre/management can find teachers who are good because last time my daughter had a few MS teachers who are just mediocre and only when she met her MS teacher this year then she improved and wanted to stay on.
So now, with her leaving, wondering should my daughter go and try other tuition centres...
NB. Pls don't be fooled by any advertisement or being persuaded that a teacher must be good if he or she is an ex-VP/P or from a 'posh' school because real good teachers are those who are unassuming and patient and don't go around bragging!

Hello!
I'm looking for a friend to join my dd for P5 Writer's Toolbox (compo writing) class at Mindstretcher Balmoral as they are a new centre and need a minimum of 2 students to open a class š My older ds enjoyed this writing class when he attended few years ago and scored A* for English š The proposed class timing is on Tuesday 7.30 pm (if I can't find anyone for this timing, we can try Sunday 1.30 pm as their P5 teacher is only available on these 2 days... however the tuition fee for Sunday is slightly higher than for weekdays š )
Please message me if you are interested, thanks very much! š¤
