I'm at home to monitor that's why certain household stuff I also do myself eg clean inner fridge, pack children's clothes. She wont take the initiative. They just do the minimum.

May shorten her contract coz 'no eyes see' & intend to enrol kids in childcare soon. Anything to take note if I do not need her service before contract ends? Pls enlighten me

You shld not go and pick up after her, else she wld expect you to do it everytime. Dun hv to pack the room in advance for her to clean. She will do the packing. You just need to tell her where things should be placed.

If things are not done, and she is not auto, then you just have to voice activate her. Call her to pick up everytime until she gets the idea. No choice lah sometimes.

I tried this way but so sian, 嘴巴讲到要烂了. Everytime gotta tell. Even after a year...

Maids ah maids…my current one also cannot make it after working for a year. Use leg to pick things, Tupperware cover forever not close tightly. And many many other unacceptable acts. She can still tell me time flies, so fast 1 year already. I feel like telling her, have u made any impreovements? Imagine I’m a SAHM yet i still need to guide her every now and then.

Generally my gal is better behaved than my boy. I realise I’m still spending more time with boy. In terms of educating, teaching etc.

What about trying at Toys R Us? I'm sure they are good at handling kids. I've seen so many kids sitting there patiently and having their hair cut.

But not my son. Cried until the whole store cld hear him. But that was when he's arnd 1.5 years old.
Brought him to a normal salon, cried as usual but when he was slightly bigger, he's able to sit properly and let hairdresser style his hair. He's 3 years old now.

I'm thinking of going without maid next year after the current one finishes her contract.

By then my kids will be 4 yr old & 2.5 yr old. I hope I can cope without a maid.
