Melina taught both my daughters during K1 and K2 at Pat’s Schoolhouse Katong. She’s a wonderful teacher who genuinely cares about her kids. She may be very direct with parents ( who sometimes cannot take the truth0 but i found her honesty a virtue. She was also vice Principal of katong. I never had problems with her responding to queries- in fact she always was in the know. i think parents should also examine themselves. I subscribe to the view what goes around comes around.

Ratio of curriculum time of Chinese to El is 6:4.

Phonics is done as enrichment rather than during curriculum time. This as major reason why i decided not to enrol my children there.

Holy Grace is well known for giving their students a solid foundation in Chinese. However, English is compromised.
