Hello parents, anyone sending their children to Mrs Sam at Kovan? A friend of mine shared that it is compulsory to send kids twice weekly if the kid is in their Preparatory classes (learn how to write etc.). Thought it is quite costly and unnecessary to attend a class 2x weekly.
Any one have other recommendations of English school?

Hello parents and educators, what’s a good age to send children for public speaking classes? We trialed once at Speech Asia Academy. Fees were overpriced and teacher looks relatively young. Hmmmm.

RE: Comparing English Enrichment Programmes
My 3+yo started attending KUNO (Hougang) when she turned 3. The fee is $70/session (60min) and a term = 7 lessons. She enjoys the classes generally. I’m currently at the stage where I’m not sure if she is benefiting much from the programme. Perhaps because I don’t practise fine motor skills activities with her etc.
So I’m not sure if the lessons are benefiting her much. I have started looking around outside of right brain training, to English/Chinese classes.
Notice there are many enrichment classes in Mid Town (Hougang) during the weekend. Does anyone have any review on the following enrichment centres:
1. The Play Yard
2. I can Read
3. Letterland
If there are centres with fewer students to teachers ratio, please feel free to share your experience. Preferably in the Hougang vicinity.
Thanks.
