ChiefKiasu:Thanks ChiefKiasu for your advice! Ah, huge relief. I was quite worried after finding all those info. Thanks again!
It really depends on whether your current address has given you any extra advantage over others in the specific Phase of the exercise. If the school was oversubscribed in that Phase, then it is likely that your 1km address did earn you that place. Otherwise, you have nothing to worry about.
In your case, since your school was oversubscribed but there is no balloting for any SC under any distance, it means you got in by virtue of your citizenship, and not by distance. So the 30-month rule should not apply to you.

RE: All About Home Addresses
Just registered with a school at phase 2C. We used a current address (living for 5+ years) which happens to be within 1km of the school, but actually we’re moving into a nearby BTO flat later this year. This new BTO address is apparently between 1km and 2km of the school. Do you think we’ll get into a trouble? This school has no balloting for SC (my child is SC).
No intention to "trick" the system or anything, but just didn’t know all these things like DPD home-distance category priority and the 30 months staying rule (just found out)… Thanks for your advice.
