My son in p5 now. will the school recommend us to take foundation subject if he didn’t do well?

Hi there, my son is in P4. very bad in handling in problem sums. Need to get a private tutor who is able to make him understand very clearly as he is a hyperactive boy. anyone know or any recommendations. thanks.
