I have 2 kids, 1 starting P1 and 1 starting Sec 1 (not taking higher chinese). Thinking of sending both to Busy Bees. Any feedback or comments on this enrichment centre? Thanks.

Agree!
The approach taken by this school is so yucky!!Imp75\" post_id=\"1920667\" time=\"1563433569\" user_id=\"2358:

The one that we attended, the name list was ranked. We know the top kids in the sport and they were at the top of the list when attendance was taken and the kids were lined up.
I mean randomize the order a bit lah. At least, it looks a bit more natural mah (even though they end up choosing who they wanted in the first place).[/quote]The one we went to - 1 of the coach even spoke to a parent for a long time, as the trial was ongoing. It was kind of obvious that the kid was already shortlisted. -

So true. My DD went for sports trial and you can see the school was focused on candidates from those schools with well known achievement in that sport. “1 leg already in before the selection process”.
In sports (specifically football), there is a saying, form is temporary, class is permanent. This can also be widely applied to musicians, artists, and just about everyone else.
A sportsman current level, or recent performances, are only transitory.
The natural ability, skill, or a player’s real level, is permanent.
Therefore, never judge a player on their recent games, especially on a one-off test / audition / trial but take a longer look at their playing history.
Seriously...
If you are expecting that you are going to beat out more qualified, more abled, and more well-regarded candidates based on ONE test / audition / trial that's conducted in less than half-a-day

just spoken to an Admin officer, from Cedar Girls' Secondary school.
Her reply is, \"No, not yet short-listed Sports candidates, for interview\" -
RE: DSA 2019
Does anyone know if Cedar has started to contact shortlisted applicants for interview (via sports DSA)?
