Does anyone have trouble buying book on pacificbookstores.com? Can’t make payment because the server is down. My DO will be sec 1 next year at SOTA.

If I've ever thought girls from RGS are mainly a bunch of \"mean girls\", I was totally wrong. DD entered RGS this week at yr 2, and found the girls in her class absolutely wonderful and friendly and ... just plain normal. I like it during the orientation to hear the principal emphasise \"sisterhood\" again and again during her speech. Maybe the claws and fangs will come out when they get transferred to RI for year 5 & 6 when suddenly everyone wants to be the alpha female, but these girls in RGS that she meet in school and the older girls that I met personally myself during orientation day are anything but snobbish. RGS is a great school.

My DD is in Y2 this year and I can tell you that most of the girls in her class is pretty normal, not too different from any other 14 yr old kid in other schools.
Hope she enjoys herself as much as possible and make more friends along the way

Anyone with problems logging into iNet portal? I had problems logging into the parent’s portal but it was resolved before 30 Dec. Now my girl has problems logging into the student portal, and currently still waiting for itcare’s reply. Anyone with similar problem or only me? 🥺
Yes, I had the same trouble after Dec 30. I called IT care every single day, and they have been very patient and helpful. I'm willing to cut them some slack since they are probably trying to get the system up and running with the recent move to the next campus. The IT person is a foreign talent, I believe, and over the phone, I just couldn't understand his instructions on what to do. I asked him to email me his explanation, which to his credit, he did. So I was able to log in and perform the necessary functions. I'd say give IT care a call.

Don't worry, the nice girls will stay nice! My daughter graduated from RI 2 yrs ago and has great friends from both her Y3-4 and Y5-6 classes.

      GOOD to hear!

      Hi everyone,

Anybody know where to look for school bus vendors? I understand that there is a list out somewhere but I don’t have it.

We need a school bus vendor that operates a route that includes Tampines.

      Much Thanks

      1. Yes, wear school uniform.
      2. Average GPA for every subject is different. It is not easy to get 4.0 (well, according to my girls). I would say it’s 3+ on average but typically lower for HCL.
      3. Don’t think it’s out yet. Typically out at the end of the month.

Thank you for answering! One more question, how do kids pay for their food at the canteen? Using money or apps?

      LateM

Use cash. My child bring 5 to 7 dollar for lunch. Skipped recess.[/quote]Thank you for the answer!

      HI everyone,

First, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.

Daughter is attending RGS as Year 2 student for the first time.

      Got some mundane questions here:
      1. Do year 2 and above girls wear the uniform on first day of school on Jan 2 2020?
      2. What is the average GPA for each level? Is everybody close to 4.0, 3.0 or 2.0 range? Trying to live up to being a kiasu parent. Lol.
      3. Any year 2 girls got their time table already? I checked the portal but found nothing.

      Thank you.
