I can't help but chime in this Raffles discussion. Hope you all don't mind. My MS DD got a CO from Cedar. We are waiting for RGS to announce. Two points.

1. My relative's MS son from a reputable primary school applied to RI DSA Academic. He is the school's top boy. P6 SA1 score 93% average. He was put on RI WL.

Somehow, it seems very hard to enter RI DSA Academic. Dunno if it is just this year alone.

2. My DD friend has 2 sisters in RI (JC). She told me 2 students from RI (JC) committed suicide last week. Another one died from illness. Of course, my immediate reaction was to ask her to check the veracity. \"Really, daddy!\" she insisted.

Today during lunch with my wife, she told me her boss's son in RI (JC) confirmed the rumour. Two students had indeed jumped from a building. I am still reeling in shock. What manner of stress are these kids going through??

I can't but wonder. What good is my precious daughter if she is the smartest girl in the bestest school when she is not alive??

On these 2 cases, heard that the girl was overwhelmed by sadness and sense of helplessness after visiting/ helping old folks, where she saw the old, sick, destitute. Felt like the world is helpless... It's not school stress, the boy, I'm not sure. It's important to keep a close relationship with our kids and help them to understand, they may be too young to deal with the social economic aspects of life yet. :siam:

Yes, just adding on to Ysz, it seems that DSA has their own specific selection. My son's classmate and good friend who is math olympiad high dist and platinum award, gep math masterclass, just got waitlist for RI.

Was looking for information for DHS DSA but found that the DSA website for DHS is password protected? it is common information, why the need for password? Or students DSA result update is online?

Does it mean RI MS only need to go for interview? Thought have to take another paper under the domain that they applied for?

Going by last year’s indication, Posting shoulde be released on 19/12.

Safest to be away would be 1-18/12.
I will be away the entire December. Still trying to figure what to do for reporting to school after posting. Can any one with previous expereince help?
