Do you have any good recommendation for secondary oral and composition guide books?

Thanks

Looks like you don't have any good recommendation :?

http://teacheraaron.com/others/JustWrite.jpg\">

For self-study, I find that this book is pretty decent. There are not that many good books on composition and essay writing on the market, but I find this book quite okay.
Thanks for your sharing!

BTW. Could you tell us where we could find this book? I couldn't find it through on-line store either Popular or Marshall Cavendish? TIA!

It used to be that you could use the 3rd lang score to replace one of the humanities scores. Is that no longer practised?

Yes, still allow.

Thanks for your answer!

That means if your 3rd lang score is better than one of humanities scores, it will be used to calculate the average GPA, and vice versa.

Hi, it is in the student hand book. I cannot cut and paste the table here but the info is as follow:

Marks (%)/Grade/Grade Point/Level of Attainment

80 & above/A+/4.00/Distinguished
70 - 79/A/3.60/Excellent
65 - 69/B+/3.20/Proficient
60 - 64/B/2.80/Adequate
55-59/C+/2.40/Adequate
50-54/C/2.00//Limited; does not meet standards
45-49/D/1.60/Limited; does not meet standards
40-44/E/1.20/Limited; does not meet standards
Below 40/F/0.80/Limited; does not meet standards
Thanks a lot!

BTW. Will 3rd language score be calculated to get the average GPA? TIA!

Are there any girls joining Cogitare club as CCA(Original called Maths and Science Club?) What’s that club doing? I only know it’s related to math and science. Any events are related to this CCA?

TIA!

Glorymum, u did a great job !

Even though my kids didn't take psle this year, I have been following this thread since last Friday even I was on a holiday trip. Purely curious! (Dh also asked which school has highest score)
I wonder how our moe look at this thread... if 'every school is good school'..could be the top scorers are from xxx neighborhood school.
We did see the top scorer from neighborhood school during the past years. As an ordinary parent, I'm more interested in percentage of 250 for the whole school. As I knew, RGPS has 48.1% pupils T-Score equivalent to or higher than 250, while NYPS is around 39% and NHPS is around 41% to achieve at least 250 T-score.
