Bus or CCL will get you to Dakota in less than 30 mins (more than 50% savings) from Bidadari.

From what i know, Bidadari is located at potong pasir which takes a longer route for MRT as I would need to go from dakota to serangoon and change to NE line, then go to potong pasir, instead of just going to serangoon and taking bus. I’m not sure about taking bus from Potong pasir to dakota though.

also i heard from a friend that in cedar, HCL is compulsory for all students. is this true? in pri sch i didnt take HCL but in sec 1 i took it and always got a boderline passing mark while my other subjects got around Bs and As, will i be able to fit the qualifications since my HCL marks are very low?

hi parents, i am a sec 1 girl frm a co-ed school and i want to transfer to cedar girls secondary sch in sec 2. i was from a girls sch in pri sch so the environment won’t be a worry. these are my reasons and concerns :

1) i’ll be moving to a house just beside CGS (bidadari) in arnd 2020/2021 which is when im sec3/4. because after i move houses, my current sch (dakota) will be very far away from my future house and im afraid i wld take more than an hour to come home because from dakota to my current house (serangoon/hougang) i already take an hour.
i was wondering if this reason is valid since i’ll be moving houses in 2020/2021 but i want to transfer schools in 2019.

2) my current sch is very toxic with a lot of drama involving me. although girls sch would probably have more drama, i would want to be able to start afresh in CGS

3) the boys in my class are very rowdy and dont pay attention in class and dont care abt their studies which affects my learning as they will always talk back to teachers and waste time so i wont be able to concentrate in class and teachers wont be able to continue with the lesson.

4) my psle mark is 248, which cedar’s COP is 250. is this possible to get a transfer since my T score is lower than 250?

5) i dont rly like my friends in my class as we dont click that well… and only 1 girl from my pri sch came to my sec sch with me (my bestfriend) and in cedar, quite a few of my pri sch mates study there, including 2 of my best friends (IP) but i want to transfer to o lvl

6) my sch is very boring and doesn’t celebrate RHD/CNY… like they dont allow us to wear our traditional costumes. and for other occasions, we have very boring activities.

7) im in netball now and my netball is not the best, but if i go to cedar i may not be able to join netball as their netball team is very strong so idk what cca to join
